Do you charge for estimates?
No. The on-site consultation and the written line-item estimate are both free, with no obligation. If your project needs architectural drawings before a firm number is possible, we will tell you that on the first call.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — California contractor licence #1125128, General Building (Class B), active and bonded, with general liability and workers’ compensation on every person who sets foot on your property. Verify us yourself at cslb.ca.gov.
How much will my project cost?
Every service page publishes honest Central Coast ranges broken into tiers, plus the factors that move the number. Your actual price comes from a free walkthrough and a written estimate with allowances stated in dollars — not a number scribbled on a business card.
Can we live in the house during the work?
For most partial remodels, yes. We build dust barriers, protect floors and keep a bathroom functional. For a full gut, moving out is usually faster and cheaper — and we will tell you honestly which one applies to your project.
What happens if you find something unexpected?
We stop, photograph it, and bring you priced options the same day. Nothing gets billed that you did not approve in writing first. Our proposals carry a stated contingency because older homes always have something.
